The third symposium, to be held in 2024, will take place on November 13–15, 2024, at the International University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the main theme “City, Culture, and Civilization: The Balkans.”
The International Symposium on Turkish Language Teaching and Turkology in the Balkans is organized with the aim of bringing together scholars conducting research on the Balkans in various fields of the social sciences, particularly Turkish language teaching and Turkology; identifying works, studies, and interactions produced within a cultural context; and evaluating the research carried out in order to make it available for the benefit of the public.
The first symposium organized for this purpose was held in Albania, in Tirana, and the second in Türkiye, in Istanbul. At the symposium, academics from many countries shared their studies on the Balkans. The third symposium, to be held in 2024, will take place on November 13–15, 2024, at the International University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the main theme “City, Culture, and Civilization: The Balkans.”
